Usage: They are a great ingredient for various dishes, not only sweet ones, and a tasty, healthy snack. While whole almonds are a delicious addition to morning oatmeal or yogurt, and almond milk is a perfect addition to smoothies, there are many more meals you can use them for. Try using ground almonds as a base for tarts and healthy bars or for breading chicken or fish. Use almond milk instead of cow`s milk to make béchamel sauce, French toast, or creamy mashed potatoes.
Almonds taste great as an ingredient in sweet baked goods like cakes, cookies, pies, and desserts. You can prepare almond pesto from them or add roasted almonds to salads.
